Spot a scam text message
Learn to spot a scam text message, in 3 short steps.
Step by step
- Open "Messages".
- Open the message from "89225" (the package on hold).
- Read the "Likely spam" warning, then tap "Report". A window asks "Report as spam and block?": tap "Report and block".
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
