Check which apps know where you are: a short lesson in 4 steps.
Step by step
- Open "Settings" (the gear).
- Tap "Location".
- Here are the apps that can see where you are. Tap "Weather".
- Choose "Ask every time": the app will ask before it uses your location.
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
Practice it where nothing can break
