Close a fake virus warning

Learn to close a fake virus warning, in 3 short steps.

3 steps · about 2 minutes · practice it with SafePhone Pro

Step by step

  1. Open the "Browser" (the blue globe).
  2. Tap "Games" on the start page, then "Play now" under today's crossword.
  3. A big red warning says your phone has viruses. It is FAKE: a website can't see what is on your phone. Don't tap its buttons. Just leave the page with Back: the triangle ◁ at the bottom, or swipe from the left edge of the screen toward the middle.

These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

Practice it where nothing can break

SafePhone works like a real smartphone, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
