Scan a paper and send it by email

Scan a paper and send it by email: a short lesson in 7 steps.

7 steps · about 4 minutes · practice it with SafePhone Pro

Step by step

  1. Open "Mail" (in the list of all apps).
  2. Emily asks for Grandma's recipe. Tap her email.
  3. Tap "Reply".
  4. Tap "Attach a file", then "Scan a document".
  5. The camera sees the recipe card on the table. Tap the big white button to scan it.
  6. The phone straightened the page. It is clear: tap "Keep scan".
  7. The scan is attached to your reply. Tap "Send".

These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

Practice it where nothing can break

SafePhone works like a real smartphone, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
