Save an attachment and find it in Files
Learn to save an attachment and find it in Files, in 5 short steps.
Step by step
- Open "Mail" (in the list of all apps).
- Tap the email from "Springfield Water".
- Next to the attached file, tap the download arrow: the bill is saved on your phone, in "Download".
- Now go to the Home screen (the round button ○, or slide the grey bar up), then tap "Files" (the blue folder).
- Tap "Downloads", then tap "Water-bill-October.pdf" to open it.
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
