Connect Bluetooth headphones

Link a wireless device to the computer, then disconnect it.

5 steps · about 2 minutes · practice it with SafePC Pro

Step by step

  1. Click the Wi-Fi / sound icons, at the bottom right. At the very bottom right of the screen, just left of the date and time, there are two small icons: the Wi-Fi waves and a speaker. Click on them (they work as one button): a panel called "Quick settings" opens above them.
  2. Click the Bluetooth › arrow. In the Quick settings panel, the second tile (the Bluetooth symbol) is split in two, like the Wi-Fi one. Click the small › arrow at its right end: the list of Bluetooth devices appears.
  3. Choose "Headphones". In the list of devices, click "Headphones" (the fourth line). A blue "Connect" button appears under its name.
  4. Click "Connect". Click the blue "Connect" button under the name "Headphones". It says "Connecting…" for a moment.
  5. Disconnect it. The headphones now say "Connected". Click the "Disconnect" button under their name to release them.

These steps are written for SafePC, a pretend Windows-style computer in your web browser. On your own computer, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

Practice it where nothing can break

SafePC works like a real computer, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
