Send someone a phone number
Learn to send someone a phone number, in 5 short steps.
Step by step
- Open "Contacts" (2nd page of the Home screen: slide to the left).
- Emily needs James's number. Tap "James Miller".
- Tap the three dots at the top right, then "Share".
- Choose who gets it: tap "Emily".
- Messages opens with James's name and number already written. Tap Send.
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
