Scan a QR code for a menu

Scan a QR code for a menu: a short lesson in 3 steps.

3 steps · about 2 minutes · practice it with SafePhone Pro

Step by step

  1. At the café, a card on your table has a QR code. Open the "Camera" (bottom right of the Home screen).
  2. Hold the phone still in front of the code: a link appears at the bottom of the camera. Tap it.
  3. The café's menu opens in the Browser. Read it, then go back to the Home screen. Put your finger on the small grey bar at the bottom of the practice phone and slide it up: back to the Home screen.

These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

Practice it where nothing can break

SafePhone works like a real smartphone, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
