Join a video visit with the doctor: a short lesson in 5 steps.
Step by step
- Open "HealthBook" (in the list of all apps).
- You are checked in. Tap "Join video visit".
- The app asks to use the camera and microphone: the doctor needs to see and hear you. Tap "Allow".
- You are in the waiting room. Wait: Dr. Patel joins in a moment.
- Listen to Dr. Patel (her words show as captions). When she is done, end the visit with the red button.
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
