A shortcut for magnification

A shortcut for magnification: a short lesson in 6 steps.

6 steps · about 3 minutes · practice it with SafePhone Pro

Step by step

  1. Open "Settings" (the gray gear), then tap "Accessibility".
  2. Tap "Accessibility shortcut".
  3. Turn on "Use the accessibility shortcut".
  4. Under "The shortcut turns on or off", choose "Magnification".
  5. Try it: on a real phone you hold BOTH volume keys for 3 seconds. Here: press and hold the Volume + button on the side for 3 seconds, then let go.
  6. Magnification is on (triple-tap the screen to zoom). Do the shortcut again to turn it off.

These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

Practice it where nothing can break

SafePhone works like a real smartphone, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
