Learn to spot a scam website, in 3 short steps.
Step by step
- Open "Browser".
- Tap "Free gifts" on the Browser's start page.
- Look at the page: a strange address, pressure to hurry, a gift that's too good to be true… Tap the red button to see what would happen.
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
