Say no to a greedy permission
Learn to say no to a greedy permission, in 4 short steps.
Step by step
- Open the list of apps (slide up) and tap "Super Free Flashlight".
- It asks for your CONTACTS: a flashlight doesn't need them! Tap "Don't allow".
- Put your finger on the small grey bar at the bottom of the practice phone and slide it up: back to the Home screen.
- Now uninstall it: long-press its icon, then tap "Uninstall".
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
