Reset a forgotten password
Reset a forgotten password: a short lesson in 6 steps.
Step by step
- Open "Corner Market" and tap "Sign in".
- Forgot it? Tap "Forgot password?" under the "Sign in" button.
- Tap "Send me a code".
- Type the code from the text (or tap "From Messages"), then "Verify".
- Choose a strong new password: three random words and a number, like Garden-Kettle-Moon-7. Watch the bar turn green, then tap "Save".
- The phone offers to remember it: tap "Save".
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
