Free up space
Free up space: a short lesson in 4 steps.
Step by step
- Open "Settings".
- Tap "Storage": see how full the phone is.
- Tap "Free up space".
- The biggest photos and videos come first. Tap one you don't need (a check mark appears), then tap "Delete selected" at the bottom, and "Move to trash" in the window that opens. (It stays 30 days in the trash, just in case.)
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.

SafePhone works like a real smartphone, but nothing you do goes anywhere. Try every button, make mistakes and start again.
