Cancel an SOS pressed by mistake: a short lesson in 2 steps.
Step by step
- Emergency SOS is on. Press the side button 5 times quickly (the screen turns off and on: that is normal).
- A countdown starts: in a real emergency you would let it call 911. This time it was by mistake: tap "Cancel".
These steps are written for SafePhone, a pretend Android-style smartphone in your web browser. On your own smartphone, the buttons and menus may look a little different, but the idea is the same.
